A true midsize camping tent A+ for Hyundai Santa Cruz
I was in the market for a midsize camping tent because my Santa Cruz is only a six foot bed with the bed door laid flat. I was heading to the Sierras to go camping and I had a feeling this wasn’t going to fit properly since the truck bed is smaller than a regular midsize like a Toyota or Chevy. I followed the instructions the first time setting up the tent in my driveway. It took me quite some time by my self, longer than usual I feel to set up the tent start to finish. The framing that holds the c-clamp was longer than the actual sides of the bed lining but the good thing was the Santa Cruz had indents in the metal area below the adjustable tie down sliders that allowed the c-clamps to have a nice & snug fit. After setting up the tent a second time on my own I realized that if I set up the metal frame and rods first then draped the canvas tent over, then hooked up the Velcro to the metal rods and then after that used the nylon tie downs last to make sure everything is nice and snug. It worked out great and the quality of all the equipment is amazing and top notch. Our family loved the tent and sleeping arrangement so much we bought 3 sleeping bags and a quilt to match. Thanks KC for the awesome camping gear!!

Mid size truck tent
Trial set up a breeze. Have not yet actually travel with it. One down side...if you have a tonnau cover or anything with side tracks, you have to remove them to mount tent pole tracks. **** Thanks for your review Chuck. Actually you should not need to remove your bed cover tracks. As per the owners manual you may need to use a larger C-clamp. Kodiak Canvas

CANVAS TRUCK TENT MID-SIZED
Fits my 2019 Frontier (5ft. Bed) perfect. Cinching excess canvas for a solid fit is easy. Had to remove in-bed rack to utilize the c-clamps provided. Solid frame design keeps tent secure to 35mph (not recommended). Operates as advertised. Would recommend / re-purchase.

Mid-sized Truck Tent for 2018 Honda Ridgeline
Although The Ridgeline is NOT listed as being compatible and Ridgelines with the Chev Avalanche style truck beds would definitely NOT work, it works fine on mine. I set it up the day after I received it and luckily we were getting pounding rain the next day so I just left it set up in my driveway to test waterproofing. Not a drop got inside. So far very happy. It's very well constructed, especially the zippers. If I want to take it out down to change locations I can undo the straps, pull one end out on the front and back canopies, get inside, pull the 3 main support poles out of their holders, gather them and lay the whole thing on it's side in the truck bed leaving all supports intact. Takes less than 10 minutes for take down and about the same for setup once you've done it once. There's a great YouTube video on this method. Very pleased with this product so far!

Truck Tent a Success
I purchased this tent and was finally able to put it up this past weekend. I live in Southwestern Ontario and it started off cold and warmed up. I put the tent up at about -3 degrees C and one of the seams separated as I was putting the tent over the tailgate (first step of the setup process). It was only about 3" long but still annoying since it was at the very beginning. I have contacted the company about the problem and am waiting to hear back from them. Maybe it was the cold that made it brittle, but it shouldn't have been. Anyway, I was already away from home and was committed so I continued to set it up. No other problems during the set-up. The tent held up to snow, freezing rain, 50 km/hr winds, and TONS of rain. The tent stayed up without fuss and was bone dry. My only complaint, other than the seam, is that the main zipper is awkward to use because the back of the tent is angled inward and the zipper is just above the tailgate, leaving a small space to reach in to get to the zipper when inside. I wish the door was more vertical for easier zipper access but I don't know how that would be possible without a design change- possibly a more outward angled pole. Overall, I'm happy with the tent and do recommend it. *** Thanks Justin for your review. The tent should sit on top of the tailgate. That may be why the seam separated and why you have trouble with the zipper. Reach out to customer service. Let's get that seam taken care of.

Pick up tent
Went up north to the Roscommon Forest recently. Wife and I spent 2 nights in this canvas tent. Also set it up twice and it worked perfectly.

Truck bed tent
Just received it and working on it to fit my vehicle. I love the canvas material and and all details are well made. We will use extra bungee cords to fit the truck. Look forward to sleep in this canvas tent.

Great option for camp where you park
I've taken the rent out twice and set it up 3 times. Setting the bows in place then throwing the canvas works great for with 10 minute setup times. I wish the awning poles were keyed or pinned...not sure which would be best. The canvas poles rotate as they are going in and bins up on the canvas, pulling apart, on the way out. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and have many more nights planned.
