Kodiak canvas truck tent full size
This tent is awesome! It's high quality and fit our FORD 250 crew cab perfectly. The canvas is heavy duty like the old fashioned tents so I'm sure it will last the rest of our lifetime and the poles are heavy duty, not like the easily breakable tent poles of most tents today. Buy it, you will NOT be disappointed!

Truck tent
I wanted to wait until I had a chance to put the tent thru it's paces to make a review. Just got back from a 30 day road trip thru South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana. Tent did great !!!! Went thru a few wicked storms and it held up great. It was so nice to be off the ground and not worried about water getting in the tent. One of the best investments I could have made. Only have one small complaint...the poles for the awnings are by far the most difficult part of the setup and teardown. No matter what I tried that would end up being, for the most part, frustrating. I wouldn't let that stop you from purchasing one of these tents tho. Great product Kodiak Canvas.

Great Purchase
I've used this "Oregon Trail" tent, as my friends call it, for a year now at my hunt camp in NC, in a 2018 Ram 1500 with temps ranging from the low 20's to the mid 90's. I had a little fan in the summer and a Little Buddy heater in the winter. I stayed comfortable and was particularly impressed with how well it held the heat in on those cold nights. Additionally, it is incredibly durable, roomy, and easy to set up once you get familiar with the process.

Another Kodiak Canvas tent!
Just purchased this tent from an individual who only used it once. My wife and I really like the tent, and are no strangers to Kodiak tents. We also own 10x10 and 8.5x6 Flex-bow tents. I pull a trailer behind my motorcycle and carry the smaller tent in it for weekend camping. We decided to get the truck tent as we like to go fishing in remote spots, and she doesn't like to have the tent on the ground and possibly having a slithering visitor in the middle of the night. With the truck tent being up off the ground so high she is much more comfortable. The one change I have made is purchasing the new style bed rail system. I really don't like the pin and socket system trying to set-up alone. I have watched videos of how much better it is and can't wait to use them in the field. I have owned MANY tents in my life, and I'll just say that I wish I had found Kodiak Canvas tents many years ago! I won't have anything else from now on. And at 60 years old probably won't need anything else. My kids should be able to enjoy them long after I'm gone!

Canvas Truck Tent
I recently received my Kodak tent truck. I was very excited to receive it and it did not disappoint! We did the initial set-up and have a tunnel cover. We researched and knew in advance we would need 3inch C-clamps to support the set-up. We had an issue with the C-clamps we purchased not this has nothing to do with the tent. Set-up went fairly smoothly with two people and we spray the tent with water as directed. The tent is great! High quality product and well made. A few gaps we will have to cover for bug protection but love everything about it. Look forward to taking it out on the road. Highly recommend. One note is I did send in a communication using the form on the website. I thought I had not received a response but it went to my junk mail. Wanted to pass this on in case this happens to someone else.

Truck bed tent
Main issue for me was putting up the tent rails - the female inserts direct outside making it difficult to insert the rails easily - they required a fair bit of force and it wasn't an easy set up. I was concerned I would break them although they did hold up. Hopefully second time round when I actually go camping will be easier -it would be helpful if the manual could provide some tips on this issue
