Open box
I was disappointed to find the box that the tent was shipped in was in poor condition and re-taped, indicating that the item I purchased as “new” had been handled and possibly used. ******* Curtis. Thanks for your review. We only ship new product. That is pretty easy to determine once you open the box. Sometimes the boxes get trashed by FedEx, but its what's inside the box that is important. If you every receive a tent from Kodiak Canvas that is not in new, undamaged condition contact our wonderful customer service, and we will take care of it! Kodiak Canvas

Older pickup/Tool box
I bought this for my 1967 pickup and it fits perfectly, I can even keep my tool box installed and still use it. I put a 6ft bed frame in there and works wonderfully.

Kodiak truck tent 8'
This a must buy for those who need their truck bed for 5th wheel use or other hauling but still want to get out & away. The quality is top notch & security from critters is highly increased. When I camp I like it so far off the beaten path there is no chance of neighbors. The only way to beat it is to backpack into the wilderness. Set up is easy enough if you do a trial run. I started w/the rails 9" from rear as suggested but will set up next @ 12" from rear of bed. My 1st Kodiak was spring bow tent same material & neither rain, snow or wind had a negative effect. You can move down the road @ 25m.p.h or so but keep in mind the tail lights are covered by the tent. Also the head room is more generous than advertised, at least in my full size Dodge

8 foot Truck tent
Great tent and easy install. Only two things that I'm not pleased with. 1. The bag designed to hold the tent is not large enough. 2. The tarp sewn onto the tent at the tailgate is excessive and flops down underneath the tailgate. Other than the two issues noted above, I'm convinced this tent will last for many years. Thanks Kodiak Canvas for a great product!

Bomb.org
I read a ton of reviews on 100 different truck tents. All roads lead to Kodiak Canvas. This past weekend my wife and I took a trip camping. The tent held in heat and was such a breeze to set up! 1st time was when we seasoned the tent. That took about 25 minutes. The 2nd time was out at the campground. Took us all of 10 minutes. It’s really just three poles and strap er down super easy!! We love it. Thank you Kodiak Canvas for creating such an amazing product. We had tons of compliments. Plenty of head room.

truck tent fit
I love the tent but have an issue with fitment on my 2018 F_150. The plastic tailgate pocket looks like it pulls down hard on the canvas. It looks like it might be sewn to high on the walls. Is this normal or do I need to cut it before it tears out the seem at the door.
