Increase the temperature rating of your Z Top™ sleeping bag by up to 30 degrees with the versatile Booster Quilt™ accessory. When temperatures drop, simply attach the Booster Quilt™ to your sleeping bag (sold separately) with the convenient toggle buttons. It stays in place and won’t slide off during the night. The Booster Quilt is over-sized, so it will drape over the zippers and ends seams of your sleeping bag, placing insulation where it is needed most to help keep you warm and toasty. The unique design makes your bag warmer without sacrificing comfort. In mild temperatures, you many just ditch the sleeping bag, and just use the Booster Quilt. The Booster Quilt makes a great camp or car blanket. It can be placed under a sleeping bag for extra comfort. It is made with a rugged water-resistant canvas shell, and a posh 100% cotton flannel liner. The efficient Factor-4™ insulation is a hollow fiber polyester that is light, fluffy, and very warm. A handy, canvas, stuff bag is included. Patent pending.

I travel from L.A. to my property by Mt. Rainier a couple times a year (fall and spring) and stay at a roadside motel that is at 3500ft. Clean, but thin blankets and LOUD heaters. Enter the Kodiak Quilt. It keeps you warm, so yo can turn the heat off or much lower. The quilt also comes with a stuff sack big enough that you can actually stuff the quilt back IN. I'm guessing a lot of folks aren't using the Booster Quilt at roadside motels, but it's a great traveling companion!
First off the guys at Kodiak are great and responsive to questions. I have not yet used this quilt as intended but have been using it on my bed as comforter. I purchased the booster as to see the quality and wear before jumping in and spending the money on the Z Top sleeping bag. So far I'm impressed with it overall. Good quality. No loose threads and seems to be of quality material. Of course being indoors on my bed is no torture test. The canvas has enough texture to it to keep another blanket from sliding off and the flannel is very nice and soft. Nearly all sleeping bags/blankets are made of the slick nylon shell that keeps slipping around all night. Only thing is I really wish these guys could find a way to manufacture these in the U.S. I would and have recommended this product .
I bought this quilt to go with my Ztop zero degree bag for some late Utah and Arizona hunts. There were below zero nights and I never did get cold. I would highly recommend getting this quilt to go with the Ztop sleeping bag
We purchased an additional bag and top quilt for my man. We are both very happy with the kodiak products we also have the 10x10 flex bow tent and all of these items are well worth money!
