Grand Cabin
The grand cabin canvas tent fulfills the needs of the big family or extended hunt. The construction is top notch. For a tent of this size it was extremely easy to set up and take down. Looking forward to this seasons hunts.

Great tent for the $
We set this up and had a great downpour the same day. Being my first Kodiak tent I was not prepaired for how solid these are. Was plesantly suprised at how water proof these acually are as the rain was a downpour and was pleasantly suprised by the quality! Super Happy and kept dry, Kodiak knows what they are doing!

Grand Cabin tent 9 years and counting.....
This year will I think be the tenth year of camping in our Grand Cabin tent... We camp for two weeks in it every year, family and friends all fit in this amazing tent.... That it is roomy, well that is obvious. What is not so obvious is how completely comfortable this tent is.... The super heavy rubberized floor is incredible, but, this canvas that is absolutely waterproof breaths so well, it's the most comfortable way to sleep ever !!!!! Our camping is in Oshkosh Wisconsin in late July... In that two weeks, there will be cold nights, hot nights, a storm or three.... And, no matter what the conditions, this tent is simply incredibly comfortable... I have the optional side walls for the awning which adds another room to an already roomy tent. One of my friends sleeps out there on a cot and it's perfectly comfortable and high and dry in that room as well.... I know without a doubt, I own the most incredible tent ever and I am so grateful I found Kodiak Canvas and this tent..... Your product is beyond amazing and your company and staff are great to work with.

I would avoid this tent
Don't buy it if you will be in a humid climate. This is a semi-permanent tent. It's simply too big to transport and put up for a short period of time. Leaving it resulted in an incredible amount of mold developing. The mold made short work of our tent leaving holes in multiple places. It's totally trashed now.

Canvas Tent
I bought this tent in 2016 and use it 3 weeks a year camping with the family. It has held up to some big storms. The last time we had out we had + - 60mph winds and down pouring rain. The tent held up great just a small amount of water by the back door. Resealed that small area and good to go again. Thank you Kodiak this tent is a beast. Brian

Left it up all summer!
We own an acre of land and don't have any structure built yet. We opted not to buy a travel trailer but to buy the grand cabin Kodiak tent instead. We set it up in the first weekend in June and took it down at the end of September! We went camping every weekend since there was nothing to do all summer due to covid. It held up perfectly! The weather is rough up there. Very strong winds (gusts up to 50 mph!), hail, rain and even snow. We did fasten the poles to strong T-posts hammered into the ground for extra stability in the winds but it worked! Even the awning was able to withstand the wind once we added the support. All of our bedding and supplies stayed dry and clean. So much space inside. There is room to relax and play games on a rainy day. The floor of the tent is very durable. I chose this tent over other wall tents because many of them don't have a floor. We get very few bugs in our tent. It's so different than nylon tents which usually have net ceilings to allow you to see the stars and then add a rain fly over the top. When the wind blows you get lots of dust in that kind of tent. We just love our Grand Cabin Tent and have already set it up for another summer!

26x8ft grand cabin with awning
This is a great setup tent. I really like the material that the tent was made out of, nice and durable. Love all the space it provides.

Supplied roof supports
All of the included roof supports/rods have a bungie cord installed to hold it all together and make assembly easy. All of my rods bungees were broken. I haven’t contacted Kodiak yet, and that’s my fault. I’m sure they would be happy to supply new ones. I will call soon. Or maybe they will reply to this review. ****** Brock, thanks for the honest review. Not sure what is going on with your poles, but reach out to our great customer service and we will get you taken care of. Kodiak Canvas

Great hunting tent
If there are any hunters out there wondering if this tent is the right choice it is. I had this tent up for over thirty days this year hunting. The only thing I would ask for is a stove jack but you can add one yourself. As far as rain not a single drop even thought about coming in. You do have to watch the awning water will pool on it but other than that this is a solid tent can't wait to see how many years I get out of it
