Complete your camp with this rugged all-season screen house. It's the perfect retreat from bugs, sun, and weather. Place it over a picnic table to create an ideal dining area, or set it up to add a comfy living space. This is built on the popular and sturdy Flex-Bow frame with tempered, spring steel rods that keep the tent taut. Its 1-inch steel tube poles will hold up to fierce winds. The screen house features Hydra-ShieldTM, 100% cotton duck canvas on the ceiling, and poly-cotton, rip-stop canvas on the walls. For ventilation and openness, the screen house is equipped with four large windows. The versatile side walls (front and back) can be rolled up, or extended out with poles into a small awning. Zip shut the sidewalls and/or windows for stormy weather, or privacy. Screen side walls can be rolled up for access or to create an open air atmosphere. Easy, one-person setup takes only a few minutes after you have staked it out. The steep walls and 6'6" high ceiling provide a roomy interior with stand-up, walk-around comfort. A customizable organizer system offers convenient places to stow smaller items. The screen house has an open bottom-no sewn-in floor. This allows you to place it over a fixed picnic table. It is equipped with a poly fringe sod cloth around the bottom inside perimeter. This helps to seal out crawling critters. Stainless steel, wire stake loops give superior strength and durability. Comes with a duffel style storage bag and hefty, 12-inch steel, tent stakes. Note that the screen house is not free-standing-it needs to be staked down or anchored in order to stand.

We absolutely love this tent! We have a small camping trailer but we prefer to cook Outdoors on our Camp Chef. We set the stove up on one end place a table for plates and food perpendicular along one side then have our coolers on the other end. We use this for fun family camping in the summer and have all the screens open for maximum ventilation and air flow. This keeps all the bugs out while we are cooking our yummy meals. It also blocks the wind so you are not fighting the wind trying to cook. In the winter time and during cold hunts, it is even better because the heat from the stove keeps it nice and toasty. Obviously, you have to leave a portion of a door open to get some ventilation. If it is cold outside, we even set up a few camping chairs inside and enjoy our meals in this nice spacious tent. The only complaint I have is I wish it were a couple feet wider like my old Spring Bar which is no longer made. 12x14 would be perfect dimensions for this use. In spite of that, absolutely love this tent and it's wonderful versatile design.
I have owned a spring bar product much like this for years. It took about an hour to set up since it had several design flaws; it was not on the market very long. By comparison Kodiak's product is superior in design, functionality and workmanship. Biggest plus for me during setup is that the poles all have a static length; no guessing and adjusting one side then the other until it sort of looks right. The canvas is much cooler inside than the vinyl material used in the other one I have, and the side wall window are large with closure flaps. This product is a floor-less all season tent with maximum ventilation for hot season camping. No floor is better for cots, tables, heaters and other furniture.
Tuesday I put up my new Kodiak tent and left it air out until Saturday at which time I took it down. This review will start at 5 stars. I'm taking one star off for the front awning. It is of very poor design, sagging in the middle and will pool water badly in a rain. As long as this tent has been manufactured you would think that Kodiak would have taken steps to correct this. This would be a very simple fix, a couple of fiberglass crossbows attaching to pockets at each corner. I'm taking off another star due to set up and especially take down. It is moderately difficult to put up but the real issue is take down. One has to walk all over it to take it down and getting the ridgepole apart is extremely difficult (unless I'm missing some secret to getting the ridgepole apart). After a few uses the tent will be very dirty due to having to walk on it so much during take down. Other than that I am very pleased with the quality, versability (especially the two doors) and looks of the tent and I would buy it again though these two issues need to be addressed. I will do an update review after our first camping trip. **** Roger, Thanks so much for the honest review. On the awning--yes it will pool water when set all the way up. It was designed that way so you get the extra headroom underneath when not raining (hopefully the majority of the time you are camping). When you do get rain simply drop one corner by slanting a pole and water runs right off. Regarding the ridge pole, yes you need to be on top of the tent. Try kneeling, or slip your shoes off. Hope these tips are helpful. Happy Camping!
Wonderful awning the kept the crows, mice, and all other critters out of our camp. Looks great too.
