The best!
I purchased this tent for family car camping. I’ve owned many, many nylon tents that just didn’t hold up to years of heavy repeated use, so I opted for a canvas tent that would be more durable. I was able to set this tent up myself (I’m a woman) and it only took about 20 minutes, and that was because I had to stop once in a while to read the instructions. Now that I know how to do it, it will take less time on future trips. I was impressed with how breathable the material is—no yucky condensation inside in the morning. This tent will take a beating from two dogs and a kid and that’s why I bought it. I’m very pleased.

I love this tent!!!
I recently purchased the 10 x 14 ft. Flex-Bow VX Tent and I have to admit that I am a very satisfied customer. Before my first excursion, I tested the tent overnight just to see how easy it really was to put up by oneself; it wasn’t the absolute easiest, but I was able to manage getting it up on my own in less than 15 minutes. After my initial test, I took the tent on a 10-day camping trip in southwest Missouri. Over the course of 10 days, the temperature ranged from 25 F to 75 F, the tent was exposed to high winds (15 to 25 mph), and heavy rain. I was extremely satisfied with the size of the tent. I did opt to use an “indoor-safe” propane heater during periods of sub-freezing temperatures; as expected the tent was not the easiest to heat up due to the overall size of the tent. During the high winds, the tent held up remarkably well, however, I had to reset the awning poles/stakes two separate times due to the awning becoming separated from the pole (this may have been operator error therefore I will not deduct from my rating). It rained for several days and on one day, the rain was extremely heavy. This tent performed better than any tent I have ever been in during the rain; not a single drop of water came through the roof! Materials: The steel is amazing! Everything from the poles to the very well-made stakes are perfect. I was initially skeptical because this tent is made in China, but I have been impressed from the initial unboxing. Thus far, I am extremely satisfied with this tent. I debated the purchase of this tent for well over a year. My greatest drawback from purchasing this tent has always been the country of manufacture. Now that I have made the purchase/investment in this tent, I can assure you (in my most humble opinion), that this tent is absolutely worth the purchase! Of all my purchases of outdoor gear over the last several years, this is one that I am most proud of owning! Go ahead and take the dive, I think that you will like this tent as much as I do (maybe more)!

New convert to canvas tenting
I purchased the 10x14 Flex-Bow VX for use as a Scoutmaster (and for personal use). It's January in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, so we aren't doing a lot of overnight camping at the moment. In the meantime, the tent and poles seem very heavy-duty and very well built. I can't wait to use this tent!

Looking forward to years of adventures in this tent!
This tent is AWESOME! Seems to be very well built and is very easy to setup. I have not tried it in all seasons yet but it appears to be 100% waterproof and has plenty of room. Definitely brings camping to the next level.

Great Tent
Got this tent for year round camping but wanted something that could withstand the cold. Set it up the first week and got some heavy wind and rain with temps as low as 15 with the wind chill. Held up great. No complaints

Kodiak 10x14 Deluxe
Great roomy tent. Perfect size for my family of 4. I would rate 5 stars, but have not yet had it in the rain to see how well it does. I will come back and edit this review once that happens. I really like the tent so far!

Love, love, love!
I needed a tent without the chemical treatments that make me ill and I couldn’t be happier with this choice. Spacious and so many windows! It’s easy to set up by myself (a 5’5” moderately old lady) quickly. The time consuming part is laying out the tent because it’s so heavy. I had my first test in weeks of rain and no leaks! The footprint had puddles in sections when I put it away but we never knew because it’s just that good. Bugs were terrible at the site, crawling all over the outside but they never got in. This thing is so air tight that it stayed up after I removed the poles to take it down. I forgot to leave the doors open. Unzipped one and watched it fall like an inflatable house. The awning was invaluable for getting in and out in the rain. We kept a boot tray there that kept muddy shoes dry and out of the tent. Highly recommend. I only wish it had a separate cord hole instead of running electricity through the door, but with both front and back doors that’s really no problem either. Happy camping!

Overall a great tent
Well made, sturdy, and definitely waterproof! Easy to sweep up dirt that gets inside, and I love all the windows. My only complaint is that the doors are not very easy to open with the separate zipper along the bottom. The tent performed well during the moderately humid weekend we were camping. Though temps did get up to 95 degrees inside the tent during the hottest part of the day, it didn’t feel too stuffy due to the windows.

Everything I hoped it would be
This tent seems to be as awesome as I hoped it would be. Hopefully one of the last tents I ever have to buy it has plenty of room for four adults with room to move around. Glad I got the VX version because it can be completely opened up and used almost as a shade tent as well. Appears to be extremely durable and waterproof and was not very difficult to set up by myself. Assuming it lasts and holds up to the Wyoming wind, I am very happy with it so far!
