Model 6043. Introducing our VX series. We have added large triangle windows on both ends. The extra windows give you extra Ventilation and extra openness and Views. This feature is a must when camping in hot summer weather, allowing you to really open the tent up. When conditions change, simply zip the windows shut from the inside. The VX series is identical to our Deluxe version with the exception that instead of funnel-flow vents, you have large triangle windows on both ends. Stainless steel, wire stake loops give superior strength and durability.

Whether you’re headed to the campground with your family, or elk camp with your hunting buddies, this rugged, all-season tent is well suited for the occasion. Made with premium grade, Hydra-Shield™, 100% cotton duck canvas. The tight weave and silicone finish make the canvas watertight yet breathable, minimizing condensation and mugginess. Go ahead and touch the inside walls during a downpour—this canvas will not wick water. The Flex-Bow frame has tempered, spring steel rods that keep the tent taut, and robust 1-inch steel tube poles that will hold up to fierce winds. The floor is a seamless, heavy-duty, puncture resistant, 16 oz vinyl that keeps water out. Easy, one-person setup takes only a few minutes after you have it staked out. The steep walls and 6’6” high ceiling provide a roomy interior with stand-up, walk-around comfort. Large front and back doors with top rated #10 YKK zippers give convenient access. Six large windows provide openness and superb ventilation. Windows have no-see-um screen mesh, keeping out the smallest bugs. A customizable gear loft and organizer system offer plenty of places to stow gear. A large awning provides shade and a covered entry. The handy strap-and-cinch storage bag means no cramming a tent into an undersized bag. Stainless steel, wire stake loops give superior strength and durability. Hefty 12-inch steel stakes and 10x14 poly ground tarp included.

    10x14 Flex-Bow

Posted by Buck Hunter on 10-06-23

Purchased for a moose hunt. Great tent. Dry, easy to set up, packs down small enough to fit into a tote, minus the poles, heavy duty floor, great ventilation, bright inside. Followed recommendation to set up and soak with hose prior to use, did so weeks before trip, actually it poured rain on it, heavy summer storm soaked it good. No rain came through the canvas on first soaking, and No rain came through during the Moose hunt. Two Hunters with cots fit OK, one on a Large disco bed with height extensions, one on a XL cabelas cot. That left some room for gear in a couple totes, however: The Disco bed with height extensions had to be quite a ways from the wall due to the slope of the side walls. It would be tight to get two Disco beds in there if each had the height extensions. Two single level XL cots would fit great, leaving room for gear. Would be great if some sort of small awning could be sewn into the sides above the massive V windows, so they could be left open about a foot during rains. Dont forget to close em in the morning if rain is expected during your outing for the day. But open at night made for no condensation issues at all. Some reviews about the porch awning indicate water pooling. It dose hold water, and if you set it up properly, you can collect that water into a tote for dishes, saves a trip to the river. Just adjust the poles and tie backs accordingly. The bottom floor is heavy duty vinyl, could be actually a bit much. Prob a good portion of the overall weight is the floor. However, its tough stuff, very water proof. Actually ended up with some pools of water between it and the supplied ground tarp due to the un even ground, couldn't tell until take down. IF the walls could be made a bit more vertical, to accommodate XL disco bunk beds a bit better, we would be buying two more for camp next year, however, I think we will have to try the wall tent version. Would prefer the Flex bow design, as there are no tie backs to walk around and trip over, and makes it a lot easier to set up in tight camp sites.

Quality is absolutely fantastic. Setup is extremely fast and easy for even 1 person, which for a large heavy duty tent is unbelievable . Can’t wait to get the years of use out of this tent that I know it will provide!

Flex-Bow is easy to setup and tear down

Posted by Eric Newhouse on 09-05-23

I purchased the flex bow based on reading reviews for it being easy to setup and tear down with 1 person. I have been able to set the tent up and tear it down myself without much issue.. and it only takes about 15 minutes for me to do. Even for its size and weight, it's easy enough to roll up and store by myself. Just be aware that the rolled canvas is heavy and might not be easy for everyone to carry around. I'm pleased with the purchase and would recommend it due to the build quality. It's undoubtedly a durable tent that kept us all dry and happy during it's maiden outing.

I have owned many tents, including high-end tents. This is by far the best tent I have ever owned. Easy to set up and take down, so much so you can do it by yourself. Very weather proof, roomy and comfortable. great purchase!

    She now believes the hype!!

Posted by Josh Roche on 07-30-23

I’ve waited over a year to write this review. Let me give some back story, last spring we got caught in a thunderstorm in a box store tent and it failed miserably, my wife and children were soaked and done with camping, several buddies have Kodiak tents and sold me but my wife not so much. Well after this weekend in North East Indiana and a night of major thunderstorms and torrential rain for hours she now believes the hype! This is our 12th trip out in our VX FlexBow and it always makes me smile. Last fall it dropped into the low 20’s and we put a heater in the tent and it was so warm we had to open all the windows, so 4 season tent is an understatement! Every time we go out and set up the tent it brings on lookers and ol boys who have switched to travel trailers wanting to sneak a peek. Now I will have to admit I switched out the Kodiak spikes for lag bolts with washers only because we have some pretty rocky terrain, and I have better things to do than beat in those quality spikes. So if you are reading this trying to make a decision to purchase this tent you are already behind those who have it figured out….GO BUY IT and get out there!

    All my research paid off

Posted by Eric Daniel on 07-27-23

I have owned this tent for over a year and it is just as great as when I first purchased it. It has held up in heavy rain, wind, heat, and snow. The price is well worth the investment. We have saved so much $$$ on cabin rentals and beach rentals. This is pretty much a pop up mini cabin and we have so much room for a queen Size air mattress , living room rug, table, tv, inflatable couch, dog bed, and space heater. I highly recommend this tent!
