Model 6014. Whether you’re headed to the campground with your family, or elk camp with your hunting buddies, this rugged, all-season tent is well suited for the occasion. Made with premium grade, Hydra-Shield™, 100% cotton duck canvas. The tight weave and silicone finish make the canvas watertight yet breathable, minimizing condensation and mugginess. Go ahead and touch the inside walls during a downpour—this canvas will not wick water. The Flex-Bow frame has tempered, spring steel rods that keep the tent taut, and robust 1-inch steel tube poles that will hold up to fierce winds. The floor is a seamless, heavy-duty, puncture resistant, 16 oz vinyl that keeps water out. Easy, one-person setup takes only a few minutes after you have it staked out. The steep walls and 6’6” high ceiling provide a roomy interior with stand-up, walk-around comfort. Large front and back doors with top rated #10 YKK zippers give convenient access. Four large windows, and two vents allow ample air flow. Windows and vents have no-see-um screen mesh, keeping out the smallest bugs. A customizable gear loft and organizer system offer plenty of places to stow gear. A large awning provides shade and a covered entry. The handy strap-and-cinch storage bag means no cramming a tent into an undersized bag. Stainless steel, wire stake loops give superior strength and durability. Hefty 12-inch steel stakes included.

First experience with the Kodiak was excellent! Cool enough in the sun, and super easy to set up, even solo!

    Last Tent You'll Ever Buy

    Posted by Aisha on 07-14-22

I got this tent on several recommendations from friends who attend festivals with their own Kodiak tents. I have to say: it lives up to the hype. The only real drawbacks to this tent are the combined weight, especially when having to haul it around the mountains [it's got a nice stow bag but 80 lbs is a lot when you're going uphill], and if it rains, you MUST let the tent dry fully or it will mold and deteriorate in quality over time. But it is sturdy, durable, and spacious enough to feel like home no matter where I set up. It also stays DRY, which is a step up from my usual nylon tents [even after sealing them]. I highly recommend Kodiak to anyone who loves camping and wants a tent that easy to pitch but lasts for years with proper care. So glad I made the choice to finally buy.

    Amazing Tent

Posted by Derrick Elliott on 06-21-22

I bought the 10 X 14 FT Flex-bow deluxe tent for my family of four 12 years ago. We have camped through summer heat, spring rain/thunder storms, and unexpected fall snow storms. This tent has kept us dry and comfortable through it all. Last weekend while camping in unseasonably cold and rainy weather we used a small tent heater for the first time. I was shocked by how warm our tent stayed overnight, I actually slept with my sleeping bag opened! Thank you for making such an amazing and durable product!

    10 x 14 Flex Bow Tent

This is the best tent I've ever owned...hands down!! I got tired of replacing cheap tents after only a year or two of use. I've been using this tent regularly for almost 10 years, and It's never EVER let me down! Still as water tight and comfortable as the day I bought it. It's handled heavy rains, winds, and dust storms, like a dream. I wouldn't buy another tent from anybody but Kodiak! Money well spent! Thanks KODIAK!!!

Survived a Monster Dust Storm Unscathed

Posted by Jeff Vetterick on 05-19-22

This is by far the best, most durable tent you can possibly buy. I have the 10x14 Kodiak Canvas Deluxe Flexbow I’ve been taking to some very harsh environments for over 6 years now. One time, this tent survived totally unscathed, one of the worst sustained dust storms in the history of the Black Rock Desert. We are talking about SUSTAINED 60+ mph winds with gusts over 90 mph - all for a relentless and grueling 5-hour period. Lesser such storms, and only lasting 5 to 15 minutes are not uncommon in the Nevada Black Rock desert, but this one was a monster. This storm occurred in the 3rd week of September of 2017, about 10 days after the Burning Man event held there had concluded. This storm is now infamous, particularly among the 150 or so event attendees, including myself, who'd stayed behind the official event to clean up --and that survived this storm to tell the tale. This tent took everything the onslaught could throw at it, while structures all around it failed. Lesser tents were reduced to shreds. Nearby Pipe and beam structures collapsed. Entire trailers were overturned. But my Kodiak kept going, with me inside as I heard the sound of countless igloo coolers and who knows what else slam into it, up and over, and on to who knows where. All throughout, my Kodiak bent but did not break, and it self-stood, without a scratch, tall once again as the storm finally subsided. The next morning, I had to dig away at least 24” of a snowdrift-style dust berm that had built up along the windward sides, but the zippers were effective keeping the dust out, the air was clear inside the tent for the duration. The one time I had to call their customer service for some advice, they were incredibly helpful and responsive. I have no hesitation in recommending this tent or this company to anyone.

    This one nice tent

Posted by 10x14 flexbow on 05-16-22

Just took my tent out for the first time this week...had a decent wind storm happen while we were out...held up great...this is one heavy duty tent, that being said it is also pretty heavy , so just know it weighs about 90 lbs everything included....but once you're in one you'll understand why everyone in the hunting community loves Kodiak Canvas.

Great for the whole family or for one.

    Posted by Thomas on 04-19-22

After 3 years abuse of our Kodiak tent it still looks and operates like new. It has survived very many thunder storms, torrentural rain and 70+mph winds. It has even sure the neglectful use of two toddlers. Me and a big hammer can set it up in 10 minutes. (you will want a big hammer especially in Rocky areas.) more than enough room to comfortably sleep four with gear, clothes, and ample kid junk. Read the instructions there's a solution for nearly every scenario. It does require some maintenance, br prepared to take care of your gear. We camp once a month or more, I have waterproofed it twice mostly as a preventative not a necessity. This thing is fantastic. We mostly camp in the south, the VX is probably worth the extra money.
