    10x10 Flexbow VX

Posted by Rogelio on 5th Apr 2023

Beautiful tent and very easy to set up. We have not taken it out yet but when I seasoned the tent in the backyard for a couple of days of rain not a drop got in. This will be used for camping at developed or off grid camping and will make my wife very happy as the inside is very spacious and comfortable. Quality tent. I would buy again but with the great quality, I don’t imagine that I will ever have to.

    Deluxe VX 10 x 10

Posted by Steven M. on 13th Mar 2023

Very impressive build and quality control on this tent. Initial backyard text set up was a breeze solo. No internal condensation to report on morning inspection prior to disassembly. Maiden voyage for this baby will be in 2 days. At this point i’m sold with the Kodiak brand.

    10x10 flexbow canvas vx tent

Posted by Mary on 29th Aug 2022

We loved our kodiak canvas 12x9 cabin tent so much that we bought the 10x10 flexbow. We opted for the flexbow for shorter weekend trips. The setup was simple. We had less space than our 12x9 but with all of the windows it did not feel like it! Air flow was fantastic! It rained (but we had previously seasoned the tent so we weren't worried) and it held up without a drop of water inside. We had standing water that you could feel under the tent but nothing came inside. We did not have the awning up during the storm. The tent is an excellent quality and will be making many fast trips with us in the future. I highly recommend this tent and the 12x9 cabin as well (we got the sides to attach to the front which creates another nice dry space to store gear).

    Great tent

Posted by Sheryl on 26th Aug 2022

I use this tent for an art studio. It has been on a deck in my backyard for almost two years and is still sound. Previously I used nylon tents which started disintegrating after less than one year. Canvas is definitely superior and is well worth the extra money.

    10 x 10 Flex Bow VX

Posted by Allen on 14th Aug 2022

To The Kodiak Gang Received our tent a day early, the box was in good condition, did an unboxing, everything was accounted for and in perfect condition. Did an initial setup, not so much to familiarize ourselves with the setup process (watched the setup process on You Tube), but more importantly to season the canvas as recommended in the owners manual. Our maiden voyage will be in 2 weeks, and we are really excited to use our new tent, my wife actually gave it a name, Kodie how fitting. We could tell immediately how well this tent is designed and the quality of materials and workmanship of the end product. Thank you, you guys ROCK! Allen & Judy

    Loving it

Posted by Chris Tretta on 31st Jul 2022

This tent is everything we wanted it to be. It is tall on the inside, sturdy as hell. We added the vestibule as well and it adds another dimension to the tent. The VX is well worth it for the additional windows for summer camping. So much better than our REI tents. They're still great tents, but not in the same league. We've used the base camp 4 in the past. The Kodiak is a no brainer if you need 4 season tenting.

    6 floor to ceiling screens

Posted by Thanks for the great review. FYI you can pack it up wet, if needed. When you get back just open it u on 29th Jun 2022

I've used this tent several times and it's flawless. Setting it up by myself is easy. The hardest part is hammering the stakes in the ground. The poles attach easy, and I don't have any problem with the last pole. I had a wind event once and the meaning of "bow-flex" became clear to me. The strong wind pushed hard on one corner and the tent bowed inward quite a bit. After the windstorm was over it flexed back into perfect shape! I also purchased the inside floor cover, which works great, I run it through the washing machine to clean it. The 6 windows are incredible, I highly recommend that model. The ventilation and the views with all those open really transforms the experience. I also got the wing vestibule, but I haven't used it. I got a grommet kit to add grommets in order for the vestibule to attach to my tent, but I decided against it mostly because of views. It would eliminate the view on that entrance. It's possible that I may use it someday if privacy trumps the view. I have a XXL cot on one side of the tent and a CGI Kitchen set up on the other. There is plenty of room to walk around and cook and whatnot. All of my camping gear fits into my sedan and I'm even dispersed camping on BLM and Forest Service land. If you are even remotely interested in this tent for your style of camping, I would say buy it. You can't pack it up wet, or even damp, but if you can get past that issue, you will love this tent. *****

    Tent

Posted by Dave Feser on 2nd Jun 2022

I am 80 and set up the tent twice in my backyard. Love it! Can hardly wait for the first camping trip. It is heavy. My only concern is how long might it take to dry out after a rain. It might be a little to heavy for me to carry if damp. It goes up quicker than any large tent I have had. My wife agrees!
