Saved us at burning man

Burning Man, 2023 saw an abnormally high amount of rainfall come in, and we were 2 to 3 inches underwater. This tent kept us dry the entire time. Moisture didn't leak through the floor. Moisture didn't leak through the top. It was one of the most redeeming and safe places to be in our camp. Everyone was jealous.

Easy set up! Even for little, old me!

I'm 62 years old and 5'3" tall. The first time I put the tent up I was 5 months post-shoulder replacement surgery, and I did it by myself in about 25 minutes (with no help or anything to stand on). The one thing I haven't read in any other reviews is how BEAUTIFUL it is to look at from the outside, and the inside. And I love how quiet it is compared to my old nylon tent. I wish I bought it years ago; don't wait!!!

Great Tents

Our company has now used these tents for two years, and they have far exceeded our expectations. I can say first hand that these tents are bomb proof, as we have had them up in every extreme weather condition imaginable. While our crew loves the ease and simplicity of setting them up and breaking them down, our clients love them even more with their large foot print, adequate height, and their strong canvas walls. In my 12 years of outfitting, these are the best tents we have seen, and the longest lasting under the rigorous conditions we have used them.

Sloped walls lead to moisture issues

I have been living off grid for three years. I have gone through a tent per year. I was really hoping switching to canvas this past year would give me some extra time before having to go shopping again.

It was lovely for the summer. The heavy fabric muted the howling winds and the bright white roof was so different from the sinylon fabric that could feel cave-like. It wasn't what I wanted, but after a branch gave me a unwanted skylight during an ice storm, I had to make my purchase quickly. The 12x12 and 10x10 cabins had been on back order for a couple months already. The sloped walls make the space feel closer to a 9x9 and considering my last "standard" tent was a 10x16 straight wall, I knew it was going to be cramped. Fall settled in and I was impressed by the fabric's ability to withstand our Pacific Northwest rains. But... Then it kept raining. And raining. And snowing, and raining. As it does every year. I contacted customer service to see if there was any other way to keep the mildew at bay. Using a propane heater (no stovejack) vents and windows open to vent and I was still getting condensation. And the condensation just sits in the seams both inside and outside in the bottom of the windows. And when it doesn't stop raining for a week... And doesn't fully dry out for a month? I didn't bother with the warrantee because this tent just isn't made for this climate. If you plan on going somewhere with a long rainy season this tent is not for you.

All that being said, I AM going to purchase the 12x12 as soon as they are available again. I maintain hope that the dry heat of the wood stove and straight walls will hold up better. Be assured, I will report back
