Hooray! Finally, a sleeping bag that is both warm AND comfortable. The all new Z Top™ sleeping bag has a unique top flap that comfortably seals in body heat and eliminates drafts. This revolutionary design allows you to sleep in the position you are most comfortable. You can even sprawl while keeping under the covers. In warmer conditions, you can fold back the top flap, or unzip and remove it.
In Kodiak Canvas fashion, this bag is constructed with premium materials and loaded with features. The top-of-the-line, locking, YKK zippers stay put and won’t travel during the night. Zippers are lined with anti-snag strips and have a full-length zipper baffle to reduce heat loss. Dual layer construction, with offsetting seams minimizes cold spots. A headrest at the top of the bag provides a comfortable area for head and arms. A pillow pocket helps keep a small pillow (not included) in place, or allows one to create a pillow by stuffing a sweatshirt into the space. A tech pocket provides a spot to keep a phone close at hand, inside your bag. The wedge-shaped foot box provides extra space, so toes don’t get scrunched. A zipper at the foot of the bag allows you to vent the bottom when needed. Roll up the bag and secure it with handy compression straps and snap buckles. It is made with a rugged water-resistant canvas shell, and a posh 100% cotton flannel liner. The efficient Factor-4™ insulation is a hollow fiber polyester that is light, fluffy, and very warm. A canvas duffel carry bag is included. Compatible with the Booster Quilt™ accessory (sold separately) that can boost the bag’s temperature rating by up to 30 degrees. Patent pending.

huge roomy comfortable warm as they get sleeping bag.
I've been camping for over 40yrs. I've slept in my fare share of bags.. from mummy bags to traditional square bags.
I have been sleeping in my new kodiak Z top 0° bag for almost 2 months now, I've had a -6° night and a few nights in the teens. I have to say I love this bag.! Stayed warm every night. Its a rated correct. I didn't even need the quilt on the -6° night.
I highly recommend the bag.
Absolute game changer in the cold!
Great bag! Very well made! Used in temps of 13° and was cozy warm!
Would highly recommend!
These are the absolute nicest sleeping bags I’ve ever owned! You know a lot of thought went into the design of these. Let’s just say they did not forget the tall and big stature of campers in the design. It’s no bull when they have claimed you can roll your body around in this bag. The foot room by your feet, what an innovation!! There is nothing worse than restricted feet in a bag. Home run Kodiak! Five stars all the way!
I had the privilege to try out this bag last week. I'm a Scoutmaster and I spend st least 15 nights a year in a sleeping bag. This was hands down the most comfortable bag I’ve ever been in. I’m also 6’7”. Finding a bag that’s not restricting for a person my size is difficult. This bag gave me all the freedom of movement I could want. My primary concern was that the z top might restrict my neck and head and bother me while I slept. That concern was unfounded. It felt like a loose neck gator and I hardly noticed it at all while sleeping. I had no trouble rolling over and changing positions. In fact that was the most amazing thing about the bag. I’m used to losing some warm air every time I change positions. The z top bag loses zero warm air at the top. It was so efficient in holding in warm air that I actually got hot at one point in the night. I solved that problem by slipping one arm out the side, which was extremely easy compared to a mummy bag. This design is a winner. Kudos to the Kodiak Canvas people.
