Hooray! Finally, a sleeping bag that is both warm AND comfortable. The Z Top™ sleeping bag has a unique top flap that comfortably seals in body heat and eliminates drafts. This revolutionary design allows you to sleep in the position you are most comfortable. You can even sprawl while keeping under the covers. In warmer conditions, you can fold back the top flap, or unzip and remove it.
In Kodiak Canvas fashion, this bag is constructed with premium materials and loaded with features. The top-of-the-line, locking, YKK zippers stay put and won’t travel during the night. Zippers are lined with anti-snag strips and have a full-length zipper baffle to reduce heat loss. Dual layer construction, with offsetting seams minimizes cold spots. A headrest at the top of the bag provides a comfortable area for head and arms. A pillow pocket helps keep a small pillow (not included) in place, or allows one to create a pillow by stuffing a sweatshirt into the space. A tech pocket provides a spot to keep a phone close at hand, inside your bag. The wedge-shaped foot box provides extra space, so toes don’t get scrunched. A zipper at the foot of the bag allows you to vent the bottom when needed. Roll up the bag and secure it with handy compression straps and snap buckles. It is made with a rugged water-resistant canvas shell, and a posh 100% cotton flannel liner. The efficient Factor-4™ insulation is a hollow fiber polyester that is light, fluffy, and very warm. A canvas duffel carry bag is included. Compatible with the Booster Quilt™ accessory (sold separately) that can boost the bag’s temperature rating by up to 30 degrees. Patent pending.
This regular size will comfortably accommodate sleepers up to 6’ tall and 225 lbs.

It's the coziest and warmest bed. It is very bulky so you need room for it. It is so comfortable!.
When the temp drops I'm getting the quilt that attaches.

Love this bag.
I have used this bag on several occasions including a trip in AZ last week where the temps were in the high 20's (yes, it gets cold in AZ). It is a great feeling to slip into the flannel and not get cold during the night. The space to slip a pillow in is genius and will accommodate a small pillow (could be a larger space but still works well). The zippers are easy to operate especially if you have to get up in the night. No fighting zippers anymore. I haven't had a need for the booster quilt so no comments on that. The zipper at the bottom of the bag to cool things down if necessary is also genius although I find that I don't use this either. The bag is large for storage as I don't roll it up but rather just stuff it in the large sturdy bag. I'm ordering another for my grandson now since he just froze on our last hunt. You will not be sorry purchasing this bag.

0 degree z top sleeping bag
This sleeping bag was extremely comfortable. I did not feel cramped inside like most sleeping bags I have used in the past. The material inside was soft and heavy but the outside is made of canvas. Rolling up and storing was easy, as it comes with a really large storage bag and the sleeping bag has nice straps with clips. Expect this to take up some room in your vehicle. I camped in the month of October with lows in the 30's and I was perfectly warm, wearing only boxers. I have not had a chance yet to really test it out this winter, but I expect it to hold up. I have not purchased the quilt-top that can be used as an attachment for extra warmth yet, but so far so good. The Z-top portion of this bag is genius and it really makes a difference. I have been really impressed and actually look forward using it as it is the best sleeping bag I have ever used. My only issue is in the top of the bag where a pillow can be inserted. I don't feel the slit in the fabric was made large enough to accommodate a decent size pillow. Also the price was more than I typically wanted to pay. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase and will continue to check out other Kodiak Canvas products if they are designed and made as good as this sleeping bag.

The last sleeping bag I will ever own!
I'm an avid outdoorsman and hunter who spends a lot of nights in the rocky mountains. I recently picked up this 0 degree bag and I am very happy with it. I used it this past week camping at around 10,500 ft elevation with temps around 25 degrees at night. Even my feet stayed warm! I hate mummy bags with a passion but until I found this Z-top bag there were no other options for cold weather camping. My only complaint is that I spent so many years sleeping in the cold without one! I also purchased the Booster Quilt. I haven't used it yet but I have no doubt that it will perform just as fantastically as the Z-top bag!

Z Top Sleeping Bag
I would have really liked to have given the Z Top Sleeping Bag a review. Let me explain…. as of this date Wednesday September 21 2022 in Southern Ontario, just south of Toronto Canada we are having temperatures in the range of 85 to 90 degress. In addition to the high temperatures we are also having southerly humid winds from the gulf of Mexico that add humidity….thus mking it feel like 100. Maybe by mid January I can appreciate the Z Top Sleeping Bag made for 0 degree temperature. Yes global warming is real. I give the Z Top a 5 star rating for the quality of the manufacturing. The stitches and zipper are really good. I cannot offer any written words on the extra Booster Quilt…. for obvious reasons.

Kodiak Canvas Z top zero degrees sleeping bag
Best bag I have ever owned! Finally a roomy and comfy flannel-lined bag for the hunting camp or the back of the van in colder temperatures! I love the flannel lining and the removable "flap" which allows to make the bag very versatile. Additionally, the bag unzips all the way to make a big comforter. The pillow sleeve is brilliant but the opening for it could be a bit longer to ease stuffing a pillow in there. This bag is very well thought of and super comfy! The only thing I would add is making the flannel liner removable to facilitate cleaning. This is a heavy and very large bag, which requires an extra- large front end loading industrial washing and drying machine to properly wash and dry it. The removable liner could simply be washed in a normal house hold machine. Overall extremely pleased with this item.

Stop sleeping bag
Best sleeping bag I’ve ever used. My son and I ordered one for him one me. It’s foggy cold weather where we live and we frequently camp out. We sleep in them every night. He’s 10 yo and says he’s never cold in his, and me myself the same. Great bag and excellent customer service. Promptly arrived with no delivery problems.
