I was going to buy a cheap blue tarp from my home improvement store. Decided to spend the extra money on this one instead. So glad I did. This one fits the bottom of the tent perfect. It has straps where the stakes go so I don't have to push them through like a blue one. It is thicker, so less materials poke through the floor. Great product.

I cannot believe the quality of this Tarp TOP NOTCH!. Dont even hesitate to buy this. Worth every penny. With the use of this ground tarp you will protect your tent from the ground without a doubt. Why would you buy a 700 dollar tent and not spend such a little amount more to buy this. Stop reading this and buy it, I cannot even begin to tell you how well constructed this thing is, you could use this as a shelter if you really needed to.

I've been using a Home Depot tarp under my tent for years and I finally found this one and it fits perfect under my tent and and is heavy duty. Well worth the money.

This tarp excceded our expectations, as well as the rest of Kodiak brand tent and accessories have. Shipping timing was as told. I was a bit concerned when opening the package as it did not appear in good condition when I received it but all was safe and in good condition.
I agree the tarp was slightly bigger than the tent however we just folded the extra under and everything worked out. The tarp is durable and heavy duty; in my opinion well worth the money spent.

I have used every type of ground cloth possible in thirty plus years of camping. Kodiak's ground tarp is by far the best I've seen. Strong, durable product. Just roll the edges underneath your tent and your good to go.

The tarp is nice and durable and fits the 10x14 tent well, but it would be nice to have a couple stake loops on either side as well.
It is a bit pricey as well, but it is a custom fit to the tent. I wold have given it 5 stars if had the other stake loops.
I would give it 4 1/2 Stars!

Quality is excellent but just a touch to big in places. It will need a bit of a trim. A thunderstorm rolled in on our last outing and a bit of rainwater got between the floor of the tent and ground tarp. Not a huge deal by any means.

The 10x14 tarp fits well at the four corners, but it sticks out in a few places, just enough for water to collect and get between the tarp and tent floor. On our most recent camping trip, we had a nasty thunderstorm one night with lots of rain and high winds. We were safe and dry in our Kodiak tent, but the next morning there were puddles under the tent and you could feel waves of water moving as I stepped on certain spots. No water ever came through the thick floor of the tent which is a testament to the tent. I'd still recommend the tarp. It's thick and almost perfect, but I am going to cut a couple inches off in a few spots. I think the tarp won't fray, but I'm not sure. Does anyone at Kodiak Canvas know if the tarp will fray if I take it in a little?
Dan: True you do not want any ground tarp protruding past the bottom of the tent. You can cut the tarp, it will not fray. I suggest folding it under. Kodiak Canvas

This product is as advertised, a very thick footprint that will keep the tough floor of your tent clean and away objects that could harm the floor. It loses a point as its size is just a little too big around the edges, causing water that runs off the tent to hit the footprint instead of the ground and run under the tent. The water then collects and needs to dried off the tent foot before folding. If you dont use the loops at the corners and instead roll the edges, this stops being a problem.
