I ordered direct from Kodiak and got my tent faster than I expected, and safely packaged. The instructions being on the bag are invaluable, along with the way that the tent has been designed to be stood up/packaged is excellent for portability. That said, I wouldn't grab this tent if you're looking to go do a light weight hike and/or backpack. The weight is significant. That said, the weight being significant also means you're setting up a very solidly built tent. We were in heavy torrential thunderstorms with zero leaks, no straining on the seams, and no flapping of the walls. I felt snug and safe in the tent, lightning notwithstanding, and knew then that this was absolutely the right purchase. Setup is easy solo, though two people makes it even easier. A tip on solo setup - bring a small tent post, sink it into the ground and place the vertical pole on so it doesn't skid away when you go to setup the second vertical pole, it makes all the difference and has you setting up your tent in very short order. Thanks to the Kodiak team who has really made a fantastic product I know I'll be using for years to come.
Very well made, soft and comfortable, lots of extra features such as can zip from inside or outside the bag. This was a good buy.
The 10x14 Flex-bow is my second Kodiak Canvas tent. These things are so easy to set up solo and just go up even faster with help. The quality is solid and I'm never worried about the elements. We put 5 adults in the 10x14 last weekend down in Moab and we all fit and slept comfortably. The white top gets dirty easy but it's not too hard to clean. Love the internal storage/organization options and love how easy it is to get the tent back in the bag. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a solid canvas tent.
this is my third Kodiak tent and as always they are great quality. The hardware is good and sturdy. this will replace my wall tent and yes its a little heavier but it has a sew in floor along with a stove jack. Great product guys THANK YOU for fine craftsmanship
Everything arrived that was ordered. quality of the Items seem to high test and durable. will see how things work when using them this year.
