These pole are strong and sturdy, the price is great, and I love that they are adjustable. I needed just one, but bought three so I could use a couple on a shelter project I am working on. I think they will work perfectly!
I purchased these only to find out after they arrived that you can not adjust the height like the original poles that came with the tent. It’s a problem if you want to lower one corner for rain to run off. Also you should be able to raise them for taller people to walk under the awning without hitting their head on the canvas. Shipping is too expensive to return for refund.
Sorry to disappoint Camping Guy. We did have some adjustable awning poles that have been phased out. The reason is for quicker set up and more reliable--less moving parts. In wet weather it is suggested to lower one side by putting the pole on a slant. That will allow water to roll off.
